Sometimes people come to us for types of support that we don't offer. In these cases we will always try to find the right support elsewhere.
We work very closely with lots of other community groups and organisations that may be able to provide them with the kind of help that we don't offer.

Royal Voluntary Service North Yorkshire is based in Pickering. Their volunteers provide practical support for older people in need so that they can live more independent lives. They provide companionship for lonely or isolated people, help with practical tasks like shopping and driving clients to appointments and deliver books from local libraries.
